KNX

Complete integration, energy efficiency, flexibility and compatibility.
KNX ensures full control over environments and automation of major home functions.

Why

KNX is an open, universally recognized standard for home and building automation (ISO/IEC 14543-3). This protocol is supported by a vast community of manufacturers and installers worldwide, ensuring long-term durability and continuous evolution. As an international standard, KNX is adopted in over 190 countries, making it a solid choice for projects requiring a standardized solution, regardless of installation location.

In KNX systems, the installation is centrally managed, meaning all connected devices are controlled through a common network. This approach simplifies management and maintenance, as all system components are linked and can be monitored or controlled from a single interface. The centralized architecture allows for easy implementation of changes and updates, ensuring efficient management of the entire system.

KNX uses ETS (Engineering Tool Software) for complete system configuration. This tool enables installers to program and customize each device according to project needs, setting functions such as lighting, climate control, and scenario automation. ETS offers great flexibility and allows for quick and easy modifications, making the system highly adaptable to any specific requirements.

All certified KNX devices are compatible with each other, regardless of the manufacturer. This compatibility ensures that products from different brands can be integrated seamlessly, allowing users to choose the best solutions available on the market. With KNX certification, users can trust that the devices meet high standards of quality and functionality.

In addition to supporting KNX devices, the system can be easily integrated with other third-party technologies and protocols, such as video surveillance systems, audio-video installations, or building management software (BMS). This allows for the creation of hybrid solutions that combine the best of various technologies, further enhancing the efficiency and functionality of the automation system.

KNX complies with major safety and energy efficiency standards both nationally and internationally. Its certification as an ISO/IEC standard and adherence to other specific regulations for home automation ensure that the system is safe, reliable, and globally accepted. This makes KNX an ideal choice for residential and commercial projects that require stringent regulatory compliance. These features make the KNX system a reliable and comprehensive solution for building automation, capable of adapting to any requirement and evolving with future technologies.
